Apply To MLCA

Welcome! We are thrilled about your interest in our school and eager to meet you and your child(ren). Our doors are open; we invite you to come in and discover MLCA.

The MLCA community comprises a rich variety of ethnic, national, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds as well as religious and political beliefs. What brings us all together is the desire to impart to children knowledge and love of some of the deepest, most exciting dimensions of Western culture.

A typical MLCA family is described by some or all of the following:

  • Loves serious literature and/or poetry and spends quality time together reading favorite books.
  • Is excited about the depth and beauty of Mathematics and/or the achievements of Science.
  • Values ancient and/or modern languages as keys to the treasure troves of other cultures.
  • Identifies as history buffs and believes that a good education allows children to travel far and wide across different historical epochs.
  • Worries that the standard school curriculum does not offer sufficient academic challenge.
  • Values an academic environment that introduces children to Art Studio, Music Theory, and Theatre.
  • Is concerned about children over-relying on electronics for academics and socialization.
  • Is seeking a wholesome, academically rigorous environment where children come to know and love the Good, the Beautiful, and the True.
