Chrissy Gandy received a BA in Liberal Arts with a minor in Studio Art from West Chester University. She truly enjoys learning about all subjects but has a passion for diving deeper into history. For over seven years Chrissy has been teaching various classes at Claritas Classical Academy. These classes consist of Classical Studies (World History), Science, and Informative Play. Her goal for teaching is to have the students become enthralled with the history stories while simultaneously learning important aspects of each story. History can teach us so much about people’s past, present, and patterns. We just need to learn to listen to them.
Outside of teaching Chrissy stays very busy with her husband, three kids, and dog. You can find her at one of her kids’ sporting events cheering them on or supporting them at one of their performing arts events. She also works alongside her husband on various real estate projects.
After a long day, Chrissy enjoys curling up with a book about a historical person or event, going for a run, or spending time in nature.
