Scott began piano lessons at age 4, sang in performance choirs as a youth, and has continued his passion for music ever since. Scott studied organ and piano at Peabody Conservatory, then transferred to Catholic University to study with the Emmy-award winning Marilyn Neeley. A graduate of Catholic University (B.M.) and Temple (M.M.) in Piano Performance, Scott studied music theory with the legendary Clinton Adams and students of Thomas Benjamin while at Peabody. Having also studied jazz piano with Philadelphia local Andy Kahn, he was Music Director at Media Theatre for the 2013-2014 season. He is an accomplished freelance accompanist and performer in the West Chester area. He currently helps teach and conducts shows for the Malvern Theater Society, and serves as Music Director at Cresheim Valley Church in Mt. Airy, Philadelphia. Scott enjoys spending time with his baby daughter Jane, and two Siberian cats.
